Farne Islands July 2018 Five divers, one snorkeler and two non-divers visited the Farne Islands again for four days 1 July to 4 July 2018. The diving was organised through Sovereign Diving, Joan provided a first class B&B at Seahouses and Andrew, Toby and Ron skippered the dive boat with loads of room and a lift. The weather was good, sunshine with slight swell, with two dives on all of the three days, the water temperature was 10 deg C. The dive boat left from the slip in the morning at high water and returned to the steps at low water in the afternoon. Friendly seals were seen on most of the dives although there was not as many as last year on the inner islands. Twenty dives were completed in all and the sites dived were: Monday - Gun Rock Monday - West Blue Cap Tuesday - Hopper (South) Tuesday - Knifestone and The Abyssinia wreck Wednesday - The Coryton wreck Wednesday - Gun Rock Photos from the trip
