Try Snorkelling
Want to know how to correctly use a mask, snorkel and fins when you go on holiday?
Well why not do a snorkelling pool session?
The session will cover
- What to look out for when purchasing a mask, snorkel and fins
- How to correctly clean the mask so it does not fog up
- Correct fitting of the mask, fins, and snorkel
- How to correctly swim using fins
- Surface snorkelling
- Breath holding and duck diving, as well as clearing the snorkel on the surface
The session lasts approximately 1 hour with time given for briefing and equipment choice and set up, plus around 30 minutes in the pool to practice, with an instructor.
The cost is just £15. There is no minimum age but we recommend an age of 12 years old. Children younger than 12 can snorkel but should be assessed for suitability prior to booking.
All participants should be comfortable swimming in water too deep to stand up in.
