NDAC Chepstow March 2017

A deep diving trip to the National Diving and Activity Centre. The first day was a dive to 50M and the visibility was very good indeed. It was so good, we decided to skip the second deep dive and go and look at some of the other areas in the shallower part of the lake. See the pictures and video. The second day was another deep dive to 70 metres. Again the visibility was very good, and we could clearly see 10 to 15 metres, without torches, near the bottom of the lake.

Stoney Cove - Christmas Dive 2016

A few of us decided to brave the cold and have a trip to Stoney Cove on the 29th of December. It turned out to be quite a nice day. The visibility was good due to the cold and a few underwater photos were taken of the group.

The Farne Islands 2016

The club visited the Farnes again in July with 10 divers for a long weekend. The diving (with Sovereign Diving) was good with plenty of seals and marine life.

On the Saturday afternoon we had a little extra excitement when another dive boat started taking on water and had to be beached. Our boat recovered 2 of their divers from the water and then stood monitoring the situation until the lifeboat arrived. View Photos

Gibraltar 2016

One of our club members, now resident overseas, organised a trip to Gibraltar.  Although not a club trip as such, six of our members spent a week diving there in early October with Dive Charters Gibraltar.  The water was a chilly 18⁰C but visibility was good and our accommodation excellent.
